Soft Cell singer partners floppy disk drives [Video]

You may have comes across German YouTube user “Ultrawipf” (aka Gigawipf) who has configured a fleet of floppy disk drives to move in time — and thus appear to sing — a range of songs from Smoke On The Water to the Inspector Gadget theme.

Among his more popular uploads was the disk drive choir “performing” Soft Cell’s Tainted Love. It seems he has a fan in Soft Cell singer Marc Almond who has now uploaded the same clip, overdubbed with his vocals:
